    Isn’t she pretty?!

I was given their cookbook called Babycakes (you can buy it from the website) when Harper, my oldest son, was a little babe and gluten intolerant. The ENTIRE cookbook is G/F! I made his birthday cake from this book and it was a smashing hit.

double-chocolate crumb cake I mean, can you even believe this is g/f and made with agave, coconut oil, unsweetened cocoa powder and a bunch of other good stuff?

For all of my friends and family who have scarfed down my signature “get-well soon”, “congratulations on your new baby”, or “crap, I have a lot of over-ripe bananas” *chocolate chip* banana bread, it is from this book. You haven’t really lived until you’ve tried this banana bread. Perfect with a cup of coffee or dare I say m..m…milk. Gagggg! But, if you are into that sort of sour disgusting drink, you will love it 🙂 I’m not going to lie, even though I use organic bananas they must be huge because I always have to omit at least one. Too much banana makes this bread so incredibly moist that it actually won’t cook all the way. Hey, at least it’s not the opposite problem, right?

Not into banana bread? No problem! How about an apple-cinnamon toastie? Basically apple bread with an absolutely perfect crumb topping that you will seriously find yourself collecting the tiniest of crumbs from your plate just like when you were a kid and  collected all of the tiny bits of play-doh from the table. Martha Stewart asked Erin to teach her how to make this divine loaf of deliciousness on her show! If that doesn’t tell you how crazy good this dessert is, I don’t know what does!

If this doesn’t scream “fall” to you, then you are crazy!

Strawberry shortcake, anyone? Just make this recipe one time. I dare you! You will never ever buy packaged angel-food cake again. Or, if you do, out of pure convenience only, I hope, you will feel like you cheated on this ridiculously perfect shortcake and won’t be satisfied until you whip it up. Oh well, just another excuse to invite some friends over. 🙂

There are so many more drool-tastic recipes in this book. I could go on for days, but I’ll stop before you get a sugar high from reading this post!

Happy baking!
